Anonymous praise for The Weekly

The Weekly newsletter at Environmental Defense Fund offered an opportunity for staff to submit anonymous feedback. Though the staff there are not known for holding back critiques, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive (over 95% positive sentiment). Note that I wrote in the voice of Gwen, one of our senior leaders you will see referenced in the comments.

Really impressed! This is a great newsletter. Great content and covers a whole lot of important and useful information in short format. I think it is well written too.

The Weekly is an excellent news source and quick read. Thank you! The variety of news between operational and mission is useful and timely. I really trust Gwen’s voice because she writes like a real person instead of a corporate press release. Please keep the bits of humor and creativity alive in The Weekly - they are energizing!
As a remote worker, I look forward to The Weekly as a way to connect with the world of my colleagues.
TWO YEARS???? Dang. Congrats. It’s a great comms tool very well executed. I see you, Jeff.
I love The Weekly- it’s always useful, concise and masterfully written. Thank you!
I love my Tuesday morning ritual of drinking tea and reading the EDF Weekly!!! It feels great to be informed and I’m so energized by all the amazing work my colleagues are doing!
Big thank you to Jeff and the entire comms team for their work (past, present, and future) on the Weekly!
...Gwen has so much deep org knowledge and she is so concise, trustworthy, straightforward and positive in telling staff what we need to know.
I really like the summaries of what’s news, why it matters and what they’re saying. Please keep them coming. The way that the information is communicated is very useful when talking to donors in a simple way about our work. It would be wonderful to have more summaries like these in our EDF library.
