Welcome to The Roundary

The Roundary — a portmanteau for the “round boundary” of planet Earth that we all call home — was a podcast series pilot, aimed at communicating climate change solutions and adaptations from a place of hope and individual power, versus paralyzing doom and gloom prevalent at the time. It was sustainability storytelling about where we are, how we got here, and what the future might be.

The concept, name, branding, graphics, research, writing, production, hosting, and editing were all done by me.

This trailer introduces the concept of the show, actionable climate change information and updates to combat the overwhelming doom and gloom messaging prevalent at the time.

Episode 1 was designed as a quick primer for the history of climate science, from before the Industrial Revolution to the present day. Did you know that for most of modern history there was a greater concern about global cooling than warming?

The second episode was a live event pilot. The intention of the series was to meet with local communities and tell stories of disruption — and share solutions — at a local level. And have a little fun while solving significant challenges.
